Job DescriptionThe Firm Accountant is responsible for the bookkeeping and accounting operations of the firm, as well as assisting the Tax Services department with client bookkeeping and other tax related tasks as neededPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain accounting records and prepare monthly financial statements for the firmMaintain an orderly accounting filing systemAssist with the accounting operations of related entities and subsidiariesMaintain accounts payable and credit card records and ensure bills are paid in timely mannerMonitor bank accounts and record cash receipts in general ledgerPerform monthly bank account reconciliationsPrepare and process semi-monthly payroll and expense reimbursements in timely manner.
