Job Description :
M anage outgoing bills and invoices on behalf of the company. These bills might include utility payments, product or inventory invoices, employee expense accounts and reimbursements. Some of the other specific duties associated with this position include:

● Updating and maintaining records of expenditures

● Sending out payments for company credit cards

● Responding to vendor invoices

● Ensuring that all payments are sent on time

● Review all invoices for appropriate documentation

● Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks

● Distributes signed checks as required

● Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files

Manage incoming payments on behalf of the company. Accounts receivable accomplish this objective by performing the following tasks:

● maintain up-to-date billing system

● generate and send out invoices

● follow up on, collect and allocate payments

● carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

● generate age analysis

● maintain accounts receivable customer files and records

● follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc

● prepare bank deposits

● investigate and resolve customer queries

● communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally

Education and Experience

● knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

Experience in Quickbooks

● 1 - 2 years accounting experience
