SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: This position will provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve accounting processes, procedures, financial reporting and growth in corporate accounting environment.

Responsibilities and Duties


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Prepare annual budget and track budget expenses.
Record financials using QuickBooks on a daily basis for sales, expenses, refunds, fix assets, inventory, etc.
Generate financial reports on a monthly basis.
Generate invoices and purchase orders and keep track of receiving purchases.
Perform monthly reconciliation on bank statements and credit cards.
Prepare quarterly sales reports from multiple channels.
Retrieve expenses and sales from multiple channels.
Make sure all UPS/FedEx refunds (A/R) are received by company.
Responsible for disputing chargeback from three different companies’ customers.
Set-up internal control associated with accounting such as payment transactions, material request, etc.
Manage inventory assets in QuickBooks and increase/decrease inventory according to purchases/sales.
Participate in calculating production costs for the company and upcoming company projects.
Responsible for payroll calculations. Keep track of sick hours.
Responsible for month end closing process and preparation of financial statements for various entities, firm’s partners, and outside auditors.
Analysis of monthly general ledger account activity, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliation of various accounts, fixed asset administration.
Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses.
Bank reconciliations and various treasury functions, including bank liaison and cash flow management between various bank accounts and entities.
Assist in preparation of audit paperwork for year-end audits with outside auditors.
Participate in the annual budget process for the Company and interim forecasting.
Respond to internal and external customer requests as appropriate.
Assist company in executing company policies and compliance procedures.
Other corporate accounting duties or supervision of duties as assigned.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor degree with emphasis in accounting is highly preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in corporate accounting environment.
Fluent in writing, reading, and speaking English. Bilingual in Chinese preferred (typing and reading).
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a must.
Must be able to correctly classify items in different accounts.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
Detail-oriented and demonstrates a can-do positive attitude.
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
Self-starter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities or reprioritization of projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent skills in MS Excel and Word. Advanced knowledge in Excel understanding concepts of databases, filtering data, use of mathematical, logical, statistical and financial functions a plus.
Tax experiences in some general partnership or corporate tax laws/preparation a plus.
Knowledge of other accounting software a plus.
