Senior Accountant

The Company is looking for a Senior Accountant who is a key member of the accounting team, responsible for financial accounting functions, managing journal entries, closing procedures, and financial reporting aspects. The ideal person for this role is driven, self:motivated, and analytical, who can apply and develop their skills in a young, exciting culture.
:Prepare journal entries to record prepaids, fixed assets, T and E, deferred rent, accrued revenue and expenses, and intercompany transactions
:Calculate, record, and issue commission statements
:Coordinate, track, and record capital and operating leases
:Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
:Research and resolve reconciling items from account analysis
:Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
:Reconcile and consolidate intercompany activity and accounts
:Perform contract administration for tracking new, pending, and terminated customer agreements
:Prepare and create customer invoices in accordance with client contract specifications and usage reports
:Analyze data, identify and re:class incorrect general ledger entries
:Assist with payroll and HR responsibilities including timecard and PTO tracking
:Assist with annual audit and provide supporting schedules as requested
:Ad hoc reporting and other projects as assigned
:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance : CPA or public accounting experience is a plus
:5:7 years of accounting experience
:Strong understanding of accounting theory, including GAAP
:Strong analytical skills with sharp attention to detail
:Advanced knowledge of Excel
:Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus
:Exposure to full:cycle accounting
:Must be a self:starter, organized, and able to meet assigned deadlines
:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
:Positive and energetic attitude with the ability to adapt to changing workload priorities
