IBTech Staffing is looking for a professional, well-groomed individual to join an international logistics company in Compton. Our client is more than a forwarding company and NVOCC, they are also logistics management professionals. This person will start as a part-time temp-hire Front Office Assistant.

Pay rate : $10-$11/ HR (Negotiable, DOE)

Job Responsibilities:

Greet incoming guests with a friendly smile and a welcoming tone of voice
Answer/route phone calls and answer questions and trouble shoot via phone and/or in person
Maintain front office including the lobby
Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically (email or face to face)
Process orders, forms, applications and requests
Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints, and actions taken
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

Sick and vacation days can not be rolled over, however may able to cash out 100% paid if none are taken

High School Diploma and 1 year's experience in a front office environment
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Strong organizational Skills
Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, responsible, independent, punctual
Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize and be flexible

The hours are flexible part-time and will turn into a full-time position in a few months
