Ref ID: 00290-9500432038 Classification: Desktop Support Compensation: DOE The Helpdesk and Desktop Supports primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Manage Helpdesk/Desktop support for all Staff, Faculty, and Students on the LA Campus. Provide desktop support for internal users in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot daily user issues such as hardware, system or application problems. Provide faculty and student support by administering user accounts, portal account use login, wireless network etc., including resident housing for students. Every semester, participate in Orientation for new student training to access the student portal and access AMDAs network. Responsible for installing phone set up and voicemail. Provide backup support to the system administrator commensurate with ones skill level. Desire and aptitude to learn new skills with applications and technical practices in operations at AMDA. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2003, Windows 2008 Strong knowledge of PC and Laptop hardware Experience with Apple hardware and Mac OS X Experience with Active Directory Experience support and deploying Microsoft Office 2007/2010 Experience with Antivirus applications, preferably Symantec Antivirus Experience with spy-ware removal and spy-ware tools Experience with Windows Backup Windows Server experience, DNS, DHCP, File share, etc. Experience with Symantec Ghost server a plus Experience with Google Mail is a plus Experience with Wi-Fi technologies 802.11x, WPA, WEP a plus Experience with Cisco phones and Call Manager is a plus Strong organizational skills FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION, please send your resumes to Sara Richman at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] and/or call her at 213-270-6732 PLEASE NOTE that we get an extremely high volume of calls and emails daily.
