SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Research Engineer provides professional engineering/scientific support within (research and development) engineering, systems engineering, project engineering, or technology functions/ organizations.
:Perform research in the areas of data analytics and machine learning
:Measure and test performance of algorithms running on various platforms
:Support multiple space systems customers
:Design new algorithms and develop software to demonstrate their effectiveness to solve critical customer problems 13;
:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
:Proficiency in multiple software languages
:Experience designing and implementing algorithms
:Strong written and oral communications and interpersonal skills are essential.
:Ability to obtain a security clearance which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
:2 or more years of increasingly responsible and related engineering/scientific experience
