The Aerospace Corporation is an independent research and consulting organization that helps U.S. agencies achieve great outcomes in space and other technology areas. Since information is our deliverable, as data and documents increase in size and numbers, its even more critical to be able to access information easily and quickly. We are seeking a search expert who can engineer intuitive and robust search functionality into our systems and collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, users, and fellow technologists with agility and velocity. As part of this role you will:

:Identify search related requirements and develop Agile use cases and stories
:Identify, evaluate, and test new approaches to search
:Design and lead the implementation of search solutions in an Agile environment, including management of professional services and vendors
:Identify and integrate corporate data sources into enterprise search
:Communicate and promote enterprise search, particularly as a way to improve business processes
:Recommend configuration for search in commercial products such as Open Text Content Server, SharePoint Online, and ServiceNow
:Manage ITIL processes related to enterprise search including ticket, request, change, and knowledge management
:Perform administration and monitoring for search services 13;
Qualifications 13;
Required:
:Bachelors Degree in a computer science:related field
:6 or more years relevant search development experience
:Experience in modern software lifecycles, and supporting tools
:Strong written and verbal communication skills
:Strong project management skills
:Experience in requirements gathering, organization, and prioritization
:Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred:
:Experience implementing and administering Google Search Appliance
:Experience implementing and administering Solr, Elasticsearch, or a standalone search appliance
:Programming or scripting experience
:Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
:Experience with ServiceNow for incident, knowledge, and change management
:Experience with knowledge management processes, lifecycles, and supporting tools
:Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes
:Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Exchange, SharePoint, Skype)
:Current Secret clearance 13;
