Job DescriptionSignResource is looking for a Systems Administrator that is an excellent multi-tasker with deep experience in IT Administration procedures, methods, and techniques. Advanced knowledge of Windows™ operating systems. Experience virtualized environments and network security is STRONGLY preferred. This is a very hands-on position that interacts daily with users both onsite and remotely. Responsibilities:Supports the development and maintenance of well-documented departmental performance standards, policies, and procedures.Participates in regular department meetings and coordinates with supervisor to develop and achieve realistic goals and effective strategies.Prepares reports to support corporate and managerial metricsRegularly offers suggestions and participates in process improvement and network securityStrong customer service presence provided to users; ensures quick and complete resolutions to users needsMaintains orderly current and historical departmental physical and digital documentationMaintains high level of technical expertise in server and desktop administrationMaintains comprehensive tracking (list and map) of all Network and Telecom equipment; equipment data tracked to include at a minimum, serial numbers, warranty periods, purchase prices, location, and usersManages data purging per company policy such that information is destroyed and not releasedResponds to and logs end user requests for hardware and software support; provides interim solution if total solution is not immediately availableConducts and logs routine hardware and software audits and conducts maintenance as required in association with network nodes, workstations, and servers to ensure compliance with established operating standards, policies, and configuration guidelinesPlans, schedules, tests, and performs installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and proceduresEnsures node/workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutionsResponsible for onboarding and swapping hardware for new and existing usersThis position operates in Maywood California and supports offices in CA, Tennessee, remote/home offices in MO, WI, and TX. Requires an advanced knowledge in network hardware including, hubs, firewalls, modems, servers, printers, desktop and laptop PC's and connectivity solutions.Company DescriptionSignResource is one of the largest national manufacturers of brand identification products.
