Job Description
- produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
- processes high volumes of information generated by email by keeping relevant departmental documents up to date; maintains and organizes existing files
- monitors calendars, meeting deadlines, and internal administrative deadlines for Associate Dean
- supports event preparation by preparing documentation and proofreading materials for formatting and spelling accuracy in Microsoft Office
- conducts research on legal industry; familiarity with law firms and marketing to legal entities; paralegal experience strongly preferred
- drafts letters and documents based on past templates; collects and analyzes information; initiates communications with donors and speakers
- plans and schedules meetings and teleconferences
- represents the department at curriculum planning meetings and generates minutes according to the past templates
- maintains client confidence by keeping information confidential
- screens calls for Associate Dean and interacts on a daily basis with donors and speakers
- completes and follows up on projects assigned by Associate Dean
