Responsibilities 13;
To be successful in this role you must have a strong theoretical digital communication foundation and be extremely hands:on with the ability to lead small groups of engineers. You will be fully designing digital communication transceiver prototypes using software defined radios (SDRs). Additionally, you should be eager to explore modern techniques and unconventional methods for algorithm design and problem solving.

Key Functions
:Working in a digital communication team whose main objective is to create prototypes of communication systems using software defined radio solutions.
:Conduct specialized technical studies, lead internal research and development efforts.
:Work on a couple of projects simultaneously.
:This position has a very limited proportion of systems engineering work.
:Active software developer in some of the programming languages described below. 13;
Qualifications 13;
Required
:Minimum of 5 : 8 years of experience since obtaining a bachelors degree.
:Experience in prototyping of digital communication systems and/or algorithms.
:Working knowledge of digital communication prototyping using GNURadio.
:A theoretical understanding and practical experience with modern communication and digital signal processing techniques.
:Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C/C++ and MATLAB within Unix/Linux programming environments.
:Strong written and verbal communication skills.
:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred
:Advanced degree in the area of digital communications, machine learning or signal processing.
:Experience with working with Linux, and development on a Linux platform.
:Hands on experience implementing communication algorithms using embedded software, FPGA, SDRs.
:Familiarity with Agile methodology.
:Current and active secret clearance. 13;
