Responsibilities 13;
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
:This position requires the selected candidate to have a strong theoretical digital communication foundation and to be extremely hands:on.
:The selected candidate will be working in a digital communication team whose main objective is to create prototypes of communication systems using software defined radio solutions.
:Candidate needs to be able fully design digital communication transceiver prototypes using software defined radios (SDRs).
:Candidate will also conduct specialized technical studies, lead internal research and development efforts.
:Candidate should be eager to explore modern techniques and unconventional methods for algorithm design and problem solving.
:We are looking for a person who can work and lead small groups of engineers.
:The nature of our work requires the candidate to work on a couple of projects simultaneously.
:This position has a very limited proportion of systems engineering work.
:We expect the chosen candidate to be able to be an active software developer in some of the programming languages described below. 13;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
:Minimum of 5 : 8 years of experience since obtaining a bachelors degree.
:Experience in prototyping of digital communication systems and/or algorithms is required
:Working knowledge of digital communication prototyping using GNURadio
:A theoretical understanding and practical experience with modern communication and digital signal processing techniques.
:Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C/C++ and MATLAB within Unix/Linux programming environments
:Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:Advanced degree in the area of digital communications, machine learning or signal processing is preferred.
:Experience with working with Linux, and development on a Linux platform is a plus.
:Hands on experience implementing communication algorithms using embedded software, FPGA, SDRs is desired.
:Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
:Familiarity with Agile methodology is preferred
:Current and active secret clearance preferred 13;
