Job Description:/h3:
This position contributes to the success of the company by providing leadership of all Human Resources functions; strategically aligning business needs with talent initiatives to meet the companys goals and objectives; implementing best business talent management practices to efficiently manage workforce performance and protect the Company and employees; preserves and promote the companys culture by championing company policy, guidelines, and the companys Standard.
Efficiently ensures compliance of labor laws in policies, procedures, and management of legal matters
:Formulate and recommend employee policies and objectives to Preside/CEO.
:Manage labor claims; ensure compliance with subpoenas; liaison between attorneys, insurance carrier, and President/CEO of the Company; conducts investigations, attends legal hearings; maintain Senior Management informed of progress.
:Protect interests of employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations.
:Present periodic reports to top management, as necessary or requested; turnover, retention, etc.
Efficiently manages administration of Compensation and Benefits
:Partner with CFO in establishing efficient and fair wage and salary structure, pay policies, and pay guidelines in compliance with legal labor pay requirements.
:Reviews all change of pay requests for fairness and eligibility based on performance criteria.
:Manages performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services, and company safety and health programs.
:Provide executive leadership in the management of health and 401k benefit plans; guides Benefits Administrator, troubleshoots complex employee benefit matters, provides feedback to senior management of effectiveness of selected plans.
:Provide executive leadership in the management of Leaves of Absence; guides Benefits Administrator as needed in legal compliance, troubleshoots complex employee benefit matters, provides feedback to senior management of trends affecting employees, consults and coaches business unit management as necessary in management of Leaves of Absence.
:Monitors for effectiveness and cost containments in W/C claims; conducts investigation, provides guidance to benefits administrator, represents company at depositions and legal hearings, troubleshoots complex matters, promotes safety in the workplace, works with carrier in implementing proactive safety measures and claims management.
Efficiently supports the Companys Talent Acquisition needs
:Establishes standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures.
:Interviews executive:level candidates and supports General Managers with second interview of middle managers as requested.
:Develops recruiting process and provides training and coaching to hiring managers as needed on effective recruiting techniques and recruitment laws.
:Effectively negotiates job advertising, candidate recruitment, candidate tracking system, temporary staffing,
background/physical/drug screening, , and other recruiting service vendor contracts.
:Works with senior management in execution of succession plans.
Efficiently leads the Companys Training and Development needs
:Establishes in:house management training programs that address company needs across division lines (e.g., Performance Appraisal, Interviewing)
:Designs all Human Resources programs, and
authority/responsibility of Human Resources and line management within those programs. Provides necessary education and materials to line management and employees:workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, standardized reports.
:Oversees implementation of Human Resources programs; monitors administration; identifies opportunities and resolves discrepancies; and monitors for effectiveness and cost containment.
