Examples of Duties: Teaching courses in Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science program, including Programming Fundamentals, Computer Systems, Analysis of Algorithms, Information Retrieval, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Networks and Data Security, C, C# and C++ Programming or Visual Basic Projects and one general education course either English Composition, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Statistics or Visual Communication. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems or in a related field. Experience that indicates a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical and learning disabilities. Desired Qualifications: Experience teaching computer science courses at the college level. Working Hours: Hours will vary depending on the class assigned. Salary and Benefits: Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Qualified applicant will be offered a tentative teaching contract dependent on state approval and a $250 signing bonus. The contract will be submitted to the BPPE (Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education) as part of the application to demonstrate the institution has contracted with sufficient duly qualified faculty members.
