The USC School of Pharmacy is accepting applications for a faculty position in Geriatric Pharmacy Practice within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pharmacy level.
Responsibilities include clinical practice, teaching, research/scholarship, service to school committees, and overall leadership in developing innovative, high-value roles for geriatric pharmacy practice. The successful candidate also will serve as a faculty member of the USC Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Project. The position does not lead to consideration for tenure. Precise activity percentages in the descriptions below are negotiated with the department chair, and are informed based on the needs of the department, school, and the rank pursued.
Applicants must have a PharmD degree, and licensure or eligibility for licensure in California, completion of a pharmacy residency and/or fellowship, board certification in geriatric pharmacy and at least 3 years of geriatric pharmacy practice and teaching experience.
Application Procedure:
Interested individuals should electronically submit a letter of intent, current curriculum vitae, research/scholarship plan, and the names of three references with current contact information. Applicant screening will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2018.
