Global Client Services (GCS) is part of Capital Groups Investment Operations organization, with offices in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. GCS services Capitals institutional clients, prospects and intermediaries, and supports institutional marketing, sales and distribution teams. The mission of GCS is to deliver a superior client experience and enable the distribution of Capital Groups investment services globally.
Based in Los Angeles, the Investment Information Services Associate will manage, maintain and provide key organizational investment strategy and portfolio information to internal and external clients, intermediaries, and third parties. When needed, you will work with senior staff on complex projects, analysis and related tasks as well as identify opportunities to streamline department processes, applications and system efficiencies.
:Provide comprehensive investment reporting to Capital Groups institutional clients; including results, portfolio characteristics, portfolio attribution, investment commentary and organizational statistics.
Monitor the integrity of information; partner with senior staff to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Provide data expertise to Client Service and Sales and Marketing teams, as well as ad:hoc client queries on quantitative data.
Participate in enterprise wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
:1+ years of experience within investment management or financial services industry highly preferred, undergraduate degree required.
Familiarity with investments and general portfolio statistics, with the ability to analyze data and information.
Ability to build strong relationships, and collaborate with internal departments
Strong Excel skills preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
