These are improvements that are ONLY AVAILABLE ON DUKES PRODUCED FROM 1976 TO THE END OF DUKE'S PRODUCTION.
The Duke 1977 & later Engines are the last and Best generation of the Lycoming direct Drive, TIO-541's
Family. Starting with 1977 & Later, They are the TIO-541 (E1C4) these engines have many improvements over pre 1977 Duke Aircraft. 1977 & Later Dukes have the Large Turbo Charger's, Improved Cylinders, improved Cam's, improved Waist Gate's & Better oiling just to mention a few things.
If the Beech Duke were in production today the basic cost would be over two million!
