Catering Manager
The Catering Manager will report to the District Manager and/or VP of Marketing and will be responsible for the day to day sales operations and promotions of the Kona Grill locations in their Market. They will focus on building relationships and driving sales through Local Community Groups, Tour Operators, Area Hotels, Destination Companies, Convention and Visitor
Bureaus/Associations, Meeting Planners and other relevant groups to that location.
We are looking for CMs who:
:Have a minimum 3 years in the
Hospitality/Restaurant industry with management experience in catering and sales.
:Has computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets) including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, catering software.
:Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to speak and write in English. Ability to listen effectively, process information quickly, and transfer knowledge to others in order to ensure standards of quality are met consistently.
:Have the ability to travel as needed.
:Have the ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends.
:Can conduct site inspections.
:Has public speaking experiences.
:Has a competitive spirit
