This position is vital to the success of the program and our national security and provides a tremendous opportunity for technical leadership as a contractor. Duties will include but are not limited to:Provide mission critical support to a fascinating technical capability throughout all phases of operation (pre:mission, in:mission, post:mission). Develop optimal requirements to most effectively accomplish mission objectives. Closely coordinate plans with mission managers and system operators to ensure objectives are met while continually assessing possible adverse impacts. Provide route planning expertise along with presentation packages to system operators. Study and research performance capabilities and limitations of the system.Provide real time feedback to system operators in order optimize mission satisfaction and eliminate mission interruption. Manipulate Graphical User Interfaces and maintain situational awareness of surrounding environment. Monitor and respond to system notifications and mission correspondence. Schedule mission assets to include coordination of operator schedules and required equipment. Develop tactics, techniques, and procedures for sustainable operations. Develop CONOPS for mission operation and deconfliction. Work in a team environment and interface with mission partners to enhance mission effectiveness. Provide actionable recommendations during operational debriefs and planning sessionsNOTE: Los Angeles, CA is listed to signify the approximate location. Please apply for consideration if you would like to discuss further and receive more information.Must have a current/active TS/SCI.Requires a High School Diploma/GED and 15 years of relevant experience in mission planning OR a BachelorA?s Degree and 12 years of relevant experience in mission planning.Experience in operational planning and execution such as: Aviation Resource Management, Air Traffic Control Operations, Air Battle Management, :depth understanding of an operational environment and cultureAbility to quickly identify and respond to anomalous system behaviorExperience working in mission operations environmentDemonstrated ability to multi:task and work in high:pressure environmentsExperience authoring technical documentation and training materials.Working proficiency using MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.)
