Human Resources Manager conducts and oversees all functions within human resources including organizational planning, staffing/selection/recruiting, compensation and benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support across all business areas. The HR Manager is familiar with various HR concepts, practices and procedures to plan, develop and carry out policies, while driving change management and championing organizational culture to build high performance teams. The ideal candidate would have proactive communication skills to consult with management and department heads in the strategic planning process and development of HR strategies that support the business. They are able to use extensive HR experience and judgment to address personnel management issues and provide effective solutions while performing a variety of tasks using efficient time management skills. The HR Manager at CJ E and M America is a Senior Manager position, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CJ E and M America and to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CJ CGV and 4DX.Lead HR team and fully execute key HR initiatives that support the companyA?s strategiesProvide guidance regarding company policies, HR programs, and proceduresAssess organization issues, provide solutions, and implement action plansEnsure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA)Assist leadership in performance management and develop effective pipeline and succession planWork with internal teams to address talent gaps and needsConduct and manage investigations related to workplace fraud, harassment, discrimination, safety, and resolve all employee relations and grievance situationsIdentify training needs of employees and implement proper trainingManage and promote a high level of employee morale and positive cultureProvide clear communication and reporting with the CJ E and M headquarters (Seoul, Korea)Liaise and collaborate with CJ America (CJ groups regional office) to achieve HR goals10+ years of experience across all functions in HR5+ years of experience in a managerial roleHR certification preferred (e.g., PHR, SPHR)Strong people management and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills and time management skillsAble to handle sensitive/confidential information and issuesBilingual in Korean and English highly preferred
