JOB TITLE: Line Producer
Location: El Segundo, CA
Reports to: VP Production

The Line Producer is required to manage all aspects of a show, including but not limited to the initial breakdown and bid, planning and scheduling of resources, and managing of a project's resources from development through post-production/delivery. The Line Producer is responsible delivering shows on time and within the budget, and will also be expected to line produce multiple projects at one time.

Line Producer Responsibilities:

• Line produce CGI animated films and shows, including films for location-based entertainment (LBE) projects.
• Maintain fiscal and labor resources oversight for all assigned projects.
• Maintain schedule and delivery oversight for all assigned projects, including the setting of project priorities and milestones.
• Serve as the main point of coordination and contact between the day-to-day production team and the project's executive staff, including daily reporting.
• Serve as the main point of contact to a project's client. Client management will include reviews, reporting and scheduling.
• For LBE projects, the Line Producer (along with CG supervisors) will also serve as the main point of coordination and contact between the day-to-day production team and our third-party partners, including our projection technology partners and overseas outsource studios.
• Maintain a roster of production talent, including core staff and freelance talent.
• This position works under production conditions and periodically requires the commitment to working odd hours to match our overseas partners and clients.

• Bachelor's degree in film, art, communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in line producing, with emphasis on CGI animated media and a thorough understanding of a CG production pipeline from development to post-production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work without supervision in a high pressure environment.
• Must be able to adapt to changes easily within a highly dynamic environment, including the management of the team within this environment.
• Strong attention to detail is critical.
• Must be able to adapt to different or unusual technological or production requirements, including large resolutions, high frame rates, 3D, and unusual formats (ex. dome films).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Production Tracking and Asset Management software. Knowledge of Gantt chart style scheduling is preferred, but not required.
• Previous supervisory and leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
