Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is looking for a Logistics Management Analyst 3 for El Segundo, CA facility to support multiple programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the Freight Bill & Audit process for sector-wide domestic and international carrier payment activities.
  • Support time sensitive carrier payments per contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate daily activities related to freight bill reconciliation, processing, auditing and payments to freight carriers via our Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider.
  • Reconcile weekly invoices through an ERP validation tool.
  • Submit reconciled invoices weekly through company ERP system and complete a monthly reconciliation process.
  • Collaborate with internal approvers on validating freight charges.
  • Generate audit-related reports, including regular reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  • Act as a liaison between Traffic Operations team members, 3PL provider/ freight carriers and company Business Management to coordinate freight payments.
  • Process the organization’s freight remittances, requests for disbursement and coordinate with Accounts Payables on payment processing reconciliation, as required.

In addition, this individual may support other key functional activities and initiatives, as required, to include but not limited to: various procurement activities, ATF license coordination, act as an IT and Facilities focal point for the department, support international activities, proposal support, special studies and affordability initiatives.

The qualified candidate must be customer-focused with proven organizational and communication skills, be a self-starter and build and maintain internal external business relationships. Must be able to handle multiple tasks within specified time-frames, ability to use sound judgment when making independent decisions.
