We are a dog care facility located in Central Los Angeles looking to hire a Manager/ Front Desk Operations who will ensure that each and every visitor has a great customer service experience. This is a hands on role so you will participate in the client customer service process while overseeing and coaching dog attendants/ team members. We are looking for someone with confidence and common sense, a person who is self motivated and motivating to others.
Desired Qualifications:
:Computer Skills: Excel, Word, PDF, social media, quick study learning new programs
:Excellent interpersonal skills and both verbal and written communication skills
:Supervisory Experience within the pet care or related industry
:Experience managing people/operations in a faced paced high energy setting
:Experience handling employee performance issues/ HR Issues
:Excellent time management and database management skills
:Solution Oriented; able to defuse conflicts in sensitive situations
:Proven ability to make sound business decisions under pressure
:Able to communicate closely/ candidly with Owner:Upper Management
:Experience with dogs, you get dogs Knowledge dog body language, dog/dog interaction and basic handling.
Responsibilities:
:Interacting with customers and their dogs in an upbeat, caring way. Taking reservations, setting up medication schedules and other special requests, giving report cards to pet owners, handling sales transactions, building relationships with new customers and existing customers/dogs. Conducting facility tours.
:Handling incoming telephone calls and scheduling/ appointments.
:Managing client database using specific software, data entry, generating reports.
:Responsible for cleanliness of facility and the care/ safety of pets.
:Responsible for helping to hire, supervise, and train employees.
:Monitor safety and procedure compliance and enforce all policies with employees and customers when applicable.
:Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.)
:Manage marketing efforts thru client outreach, special events, social media , community outreach.
Physical Requirements:
: x200B;Able to stand for long periods of time
:Able to lift and carry objects and/or animals of moderate weight
:Ability to bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and other strenuous activities relating to facility maintenance and animal care
:Able to handle dogs of all sizes and strengths
