Responsibilities 13;
The Aerospace Corporation believes in providing the highest level of service to our employees. We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Payroll for approximately 3,900 employees. You will be responsible for managing, planning and directing the workflow and daily operations of all functions of the Payroll Department. ln this role, you will maintain the standards of excellence set forth in the department. You will communicate and solve complex problems with other departments, mangers, employees, auditors and outside agencies.

This role will manage a small but mighty team and reside at The Aerospace Corporations corporate office in El Segundo, CA.
Qualifications 13;
:Minimum of 8 years of diverse experience in the payroll field
:Five years of experience in leading directing and developing departmental staff
:Experience in managing a multi:state, in:house payroll process
:Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws
:Current knowledge of SSA, IRS, state and local taxation
:Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management
:Ability to build partnerships with HR, HRIS, Benefits, Accounting and IT
:Ability to manage, monitor and oversee implemented internal controls which ensure compliance of corporate policies and established payroll procedures
:The ability to interact with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audits
:Proficiency in standard office tools ( Lotus Notes, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

:Bachelors degree in Business or related field
:Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
:Experience functional user of SAP HR/Payroll and ADP tax services
