Seeking Payroll / HR Specialist to join our team. This position is temporary (approximately 4-6 months). 


Under general direction, the Payroll & HR Specialist is responsible for the administration of weekly payroll processing and performing a broad range of Payroll and Human Resources support.

  • Administration of weekly payroll (varies between 50-150 employees)
  • Audits time cards and works with department supervisors to ensure completeness and accuracy 
  • Creates payroll file to transmit to third party processor
  • Responsible for responding to employee and management questions regarding payroll issues
  • Generates and maintains various reports using internal systems
  • HR responsibilities include new hire on-boarding, leave of absence compliance, benefits, training, special projects, and other duties as assigned                                                    


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with employees and all levels of management
  • Must have the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and a sense of urgency 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with multiple deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change in business conditions and environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of compliance in labor laws related to payroll and HR


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree preferred 
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Payroll and Human Resources administration 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required

9:00am - 5:00pm
