The North America Distribution Project Management Team provides project management delivery in support of Capital Groups strategy to build and maintain high quality strategic solutions that maximize business value.
As a Project Analyst based in Los Angeles, you will contribute to the analysis and project management for small to medium sized projects or work streams of large projects or programs, sometimes with significant scope and complexity. You will research and analyze complex business questions to understand needs and formulate solutions for the business.
Participate meaningfully in a project management support role and/or in conducting analysis in support of strategic business objectives
Conduct project:related research and analysis in support of solving business problems/answering business questions
Assist business partners in shaping solutions through changes in strategy, organization, and business processes.
Support change management efforts for assigned projects toward successful implementation
Recommend optimal project communication, including project status to stakeholders, project team, and team member
Bachelors degree in a related field. Advanced degree preferred
Minimum of two years of project management or consulting experience managing cross:functional initiatives
Ideally, have worked for a management consulting firm or in project management for a financial services company
Ability to work closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery expectations are aligned, managed and met
Experience with project delivery responsibilities for complex projects from proposal development to post:implementation close:out
Demonstrated analytical ability, including financial analysis, business impact and cost/benefit analysis, and business case development
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
