we are looking for a Project Manager to lead a complex county-wide initiative to develop and implement a new career-path based job classification system that allows our employees to navigate their careers.The Project Manager will work with the Compensation and Classification leadership to develop an overall strategy, as well as lead the day-to-day direction and overall project responsibilities of this initiative.

We are working to transform our out-dated job classification system to create a system that allows for flexibility to address changing business needs, is consistent and easily understood, and supports employee development. This initiative is a high-level project in Executive Constantine's goal to become "the best-run government in the United States."

Job Requirements
• Have in-depth progressive experience as a project manager of human resources or related projects OR any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position;
• Have excellent written/oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executive management and diverse stakeholders;
• Have the ability to utilize disciplined project management methodologies and tools – to plan, organize, and execute projects;
• Have the ability to lead and coordinate matrix and/or cross-functional teams in a large, complex, and unionized public organization and to engage client stakeholders to make decisions;
• Be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite in daily work.
