Job Description
We are seeking a part:time Project Coordinator (PC) with the possibility for full time employment to join the From Lots to Spots team The Project Coordinator assists to implement all From Lots To Spots projects and works on several fronts of the organization to carry out projects.
:Compensation is up to 20/hourly and based on experience.
Who We Are:
From Lot to Spot is a small non profit dedicated to creating community:designed greenspaces in low income, communities of color. Weve been around eight years:plus and love what we do. Our company culture is fun, dedicated, socially conscious and wed rather follow the less beaten path when it comes to creating a company culture. We observe Cesar Chavez Day March 31st and Indigenous Resistance Day on October 12th. We take team field trips and sometimes we even dig in the dirt a little.
The following are a sample of tasks that include but are not limited to:
:Responsible for assisting Project Manager (PM) to keep all FLTS projects on schedule and organized
:Assist in executing projects from planning, outreach and through construction : from organizing community meetings to purchasing nails for garden beds.
:Responsible for working with PM and Community Organizer (CO)to plan and schedule community events for all FLTS projects to include securing locations, creating agendas, handouts and all logistics for the events
:Responsible for all administrative tasks of projects to include uploading pictures of events, sing in sheets, documenting our process in outreach and engagement, filing of important documents.
:Using FLTS excel MASTER system, update detailed project schedules to include timelines with key benchmarks, cost estimates, outreach planning tools, etc.
:Attend any necessary meetings, workshops, seminars and other relevant community events including night and/or weekend to promote FLTS activities and foster relationships with community
:Attend and represent FLTS at necessary community engagement events including night and/or weekend to promote FLTS activities and engage with community
:Be point of contact for all FLTS events when CO and PM not available
:Assist to manage all volunteers and interns
:Works closely with CO and Interns to successfully implement community engagement campaigns including implementing outreach tasks
:Report regularly to Project Manager
:Answer phones and respond to e:mails (and any kind of correspondence) in a timely manner.
:Respond to vendor, donors, and community members in a responsive 24:48 hour timeframe.
:Works with PM on executing office:related tasks such as ordering office supplies
:Maintain and file timesheets in digital and hard copy format
:Maintain a clean and organized workspace and digital archive
:Responsible for updating on a weekly basis FLTS Projects Timeline and other relevant org logistics
:Responsible for office logistics including organizing of all FLTS boxes, supplies and storage areas, maintaining everything clean and organized.
Public Relations
:Keep all email lists updated in Mailchimp
:Create project and org literature : flyers, brochures, advertisements, etc
:Responsible for managing all FLTS email lists
:Assist Executive Director with handling social media accounts which includes creating campaigns, project updates and event promotion on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Mailchimp.
:Responsible for all event promotion on social media platforms
:Assist team in annual fundraising event that includes garnering donations, sponsorships, planning and execution of event
:Must have at least 2:years office experience.
:Must be able to work independently with strict deadlines and meet weekly goals, think critically, and problem:solve. Must be able to prioritize work load on a daily and weekly basis.
:Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
:Must be organized,
