Job Description:/h3:
Duties:

9.1 Reviews Contractors Baseline schedule submissions and provides narrative
9.2 Performs QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract. Reviews critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints and milestones
9.3 Performs schedule impact analysis for contractor change orders and conducts schedule negotiations for contractor change orders
9.4 Performs Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis
9.5 Tracks and gets involved in project issues as they relate to project schedules
9.6 Walks the field, checks the contractors weekly and monthly schedule progress and provides reports to the project OAR and upper management
9.7 Reads drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understands terms and conditions of the contract to determine compensability, as well as concurrent delays
9.8 Proactively anticipates schedule impacts and advises Project Team concerning the same
9.9 Effectively communicates with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetings
9.10 Prepares reports as needed and directed by Management
9.11 Communicates with Project Teams and leadership
9.12 Actively participates in Program:level scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards
9.13 Performs Program Schedule QA/QC reviews on a regular basis
9.14 Performs status updates for Program Schedules/Master Schedules on a twice:monthly basis
9.15 Ensures proper use of Program:level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity
9.16 Develops initial project schedules in anticipation of Board Approval
9.17 Serves as a liaison between Branches and the Program and Project Controls department
10. Minimum Requirements

Required Experience: 10.1 Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facility or public works projects 10.2 Proficiency in Primavera 8.1 or above and MS Office Suite 10.3 Working knowledge of Primavera Project Planner (P3)

Required Skills:
10.4 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10.5 Superior organization and planning skills

Required Education:
10.6 Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
10.7 Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
