JOB DESCRIPTION: Studio Manager
REPORTS TO: Owner/Director
STATUS: Full Time, Exempt Position
Responsible for successfully operating the Studio on a daily basis, providing outstanding customer service, professionally and mindfully promote and sell Memberships to new and existing Students, ensuring all practices are consistent with the Unplug brand and identity, and displaying exceptional leadership skills.
D U T I E S A N D R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :
o Manage and motivate studio staff
o Organize and lead monthly staff meetings
o Enforce studio policies and procedures
o Create, manage and timely distribute staff schedules
o Provide weekly communication to staff on all studio promotions, including SOP s, as well as updates on studio operations, classes and/or events
o Responsible for initial training and continued coaching and evaluation of all staff members
o Create a highly personable, client-focused team whose focus is to achieve and exceed studio and company goals
o Collaborate on studio events and class schedules
o Attend teacher meetings
o Lead monthly staff meetings
o Help reduce attrition by providing an outstanding experience on each student s visit and consistently delivering the Unplug s standard of excellence.
o Respond to client issues and concerns in positive and timely manner
o Assist in any sales training and development at other locations, as needed
o Perform any and all additional duties as required for this position
Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S A N D E X P E R I E N C E
2-3 years in a supervisory role
Experience managing in a sales-driven environment preferred
Strong work ethic and habits including attendance and punctuality
Exhibit a positive, compassion, energetic and respectful attitude towards customers and staff
Experience coaching and developing staff and effectively resolving personnel issues
Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter, solution oriented and team player that exhibits a positive attitude.

This position operates in a professional retail studio environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
