Job Description

Position: Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Our prestigious client is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee and manage the supply chain, inventory, vendor management, and shipping and receiving process. This is not a warehouse setting and the ideal candidate will be extremely organized, work with forethought, with a full understanding of the raw product and inventory needs of the organization. Must be computer literate in MS Office Suite and will be working with a home grown inventory management system.

-Responsible for the shipping and receiving: process and documents, this is not a warehouse setting.
-Responsible for all incoming parts or outgoing product shipments with maximum box size of 20 pounds. must be able to work with bubble wrapping, shipping peanuts, tape guns, and cardboard boxes
-Directly responsible for raw product and the Inventory room management: pulling and replenishing parts, maintaining inventory database, maintaining accuracy and cleanliness.
-Manager the vendor and negotiation processes, obtains competitive pricing
-Must have the right product available at the right time.
-Sourcing and purchasing of raw materials for product manufacturing (Bill of Materials). Both custom parts and off-the-shelf parts.
-Sourcing and purchasing of office supplies: and vendor management.
-Kitting parts for production jobs based on the Bill of Materials.
-Preferably experience in a manufacturing environment
