Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Sector is currently seeking an Talent Acquisition Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be based in El Segundo, CA.

In this role, your responsibilities may include:

  • Develop strong relationships with leadership throughout the organization and help drive and influence results for the function. Consults with HR and business leadership to identify emerging workforce trends;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and advise on options, manage costs and ROI to providing talent;
  • Explore the market trends and best practices in recruitment and implement appropriate best practices in the organization;
  • Coach and train a recruiting team on best practices as talent advisors, including how to build sourcing strategies and how to build influential relationships with hiring managers and job seekers;
  • Develop, implement and drive strategies that attract and recruit talent utilizing multiple tools and resources;
  • Manage quality, productivity and compliance with internal policies, EEO/diversity policies, as well as, federal and state employment and labor laws;
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and anticipate future hiring needs;
  • Collaborate with team in developing TA strategies and know when to ask for help from the Sourcing team;

Essential Functions:

  • Requires broad knowledge of human resources regulatory and statutory requirements with strong knowledge of compensation laws (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act, etc.). Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and interface effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results oriented team player, yet able to work independently of direct supervision.
  • Able to interface with managers and employees at all levels. Experience analyzing recruiting metrics.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting recruiting metrics
  • The position requires the ability to travel frequently to customer sites and/or other NG facilities
