Support the weld shop Lead Man/Supervisor in all the manufacturing and welding production processes by keeping close communication with the Lead Man/supervisor.

Position Duties
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
:Support the weld shop Lead man/supervisor on the manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of welding with the different welding process such of GMAW, GTAW, TIG, MIG and FCAW.
:Support the manufacturing processes by complying with drawings requirements, manufacturing methods and best equipment usage for production.
:Support the manufacturing efficiency by work planning with Lead man/supervisor.
:Provides support in the manufacturing decision:making by the proper communication with lead man/sup and shop personal.
:Support weld shop Lead man/supervisor in maintaining schedules up to date in all the production jobs in the floor.
:Supports maintaining product and company reputation by complying with company and government regulations.
:Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
:Support the compliance with all company quality programs including AS9100 and customer technical requirements.

Education, Experience and Skills:
A High school diploma or equivalent, able to read weld symbols and familiar with welding process such as GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, or a related welding fabrication field is required, along with Ten or more years of Aerospace welding experience.
Able to read blueprints
Able to work independent with minimum supervision.
Must have good oral and written communication skills and have a high level of moral and ethical codes. Proven skills teamwork is a must.
Physical Demands
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
