Position SummaryProvides special service unique to the Customer by overseeing all aspects of communication within the company including, but not limited to data entry of orders, quotes, customer inquiries, maintenance of custom stock inventory, delivery of merchandise. Provides, at times, daily contact with customers regarding status of their order(s) and assists Sales Rep on day to day tasks to ensure the Customer is receiving optimum service from the company.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities1. Engages Customers by phone and receives orders, quote requests, follow-ups, and all other inquiries2. Responsible for data entry of all orders for the Customer through direct contact, mail, fax, or e- mail through the ONA Sales Representatives3. When processing orders to bring product onto our warehouse floors, the Customer Service Representatives evaluates historical data on such items and provides assistance with inventory control processes.4. Provides inside support to outside Sales Reps.5. Keeps management informed on issues with the account and service–level concerns of the Customer.6. Provides expertise in solving Customer problems with any and all internal departments, including other divisions.7. Performs contract review work processes on Customer Purchase Orders.8. Responds to Customer inquiries on the telephone through on-line networks, by mail, and by facsimile.9. Establishes new account through contact and facilitation of company documentation—application and resale card10. Works with ONA Addressbook to change customer address, contact telephone numbers, and/or add additional ship-to locations.11. Informs Sales Reps of potential leads for prospective accounts12. Writes Customer quote requests, sample requests, formal quotes to Customers13. Handles Customer problems that appear to arise from the use of the product. Handles requests for replacing and picking up defective parts14. Submits follow-ups on orders through Expediting via voicemail or e-mail request.15. Coordinates changes to orders on accounts as necessary16. Audits and releases all EDI orders that come through website17. Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned Education and Experience:o High school diploma or general education degree (GED);o One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceo Successful completion of the Certified Level of the Customer Service Certification Program JB.0.18.LN.
