Responsible for the front desk reception, marketing and vacancy status of multi-family residential apartments. Provides top level customer service to prospective tenants and marketing high occupancy of properties. Under general supervision, offers executive support for on-site managers, regional supervisors and upper management. Honesty Integrity Competence Tenacity & Enthusiasm Creativity Professionalism Drive Service JOB REQUIREMENTS Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials Sending out details of new properties to prospective residents Requires strong verbal and written communication skills Monitor advertising effectiveness. Gather competitive market information Ability to draft and write detailed notes in communications to applicants Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns, avoid escalation of issues Approachable, friendly demeanor that adapts readily to changing priorities Organized and task oriented, enjoys fast- paced work environment with multiple deadlines Proficient in Google Docs, Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook Yardi or other property management software experience a plus Complete understanding of Fair Housing Laws mandatory Excellent people skills and the ability to build and maintain positive, supportive working relationships Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times Participate in training in order to comply with new policies or existing laws QUALIFICATIONS· Minimum of 6 months property management experience· Preferred area of studies include business administration, sales or real estate· Position requires excellent phone etiquette and leasing skills, as well as have strong computer skills and be organized· Work Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time employee with comprehensive benefits package· Attendance is an imperative job function and requires for you to be at work by 8am to attend any tenants, managers or vendors coming in at the opening of business hours· Must pass a credit report, a criminal background check, and a drug test PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to type data, prepare necessary paperwork, operate business machines as in fax and copy machines, dial the telephone and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 5-10 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop or kneel. Employee should have good health and physical stamina to regularly visit and inspect properties. Properties are located throughout the metro area, must have reliable vehicle and available to travel. Responsibilities include on-site appointments and corporate office duties. Must be able to read and write the English language in a professional, legible manner in order to complete job assignments. Must possess, and be able to use the apply common sense understanding and use good judgment on a daily basis. Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to handle stressful, urgent, diverse situations in a calm and reasonable manner. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, emotional stability, and personal maturity.
