Job Description:/h3:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Financial Analyst to join our team The Construction Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager with finance, accounting, cost and business management functions on design and construction projects, and contract administration.
The candidate we seek is a bright, articulate, efficient, trustworthy and polished associate with a successful track record as a Construction Financial Analyst. He/she will be looking for a stable, positive and team:oriented work environment where they can put down their roots
Major Responsibilities:
:Reviews project work breakdown structure
:Ensures cost forecasts are consistent with established and document project control basis
:Analyzes and reports project cost variances
:Maintains and reports project cost forecast in accordance with work breakdown structure
:Track project change orders
:Provide progress reports in weekly meetings
:Works with Property Accounting to ensure that project costs are provided in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures
:Tracks project completion status, follow ups with appropriate persons for required documentation for project cost capitalization.
:Preparation of construction and maintenance contracts
:Ensures contracts are complete with: scope of work, project plans, COI, conditional lien release, invoice and contract approval cover page
:Schedule vendors, sub:contracts and contracts for projects as needed
:Track all lender required repairs
Qualifications:
:Experience: Minimum two (2) years of financial or project controls experience
:Experience in a financial analysis and/or accounting role in an architectural, design, contracting, project management or construction environment.
:Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or other related construction management disciplineCompany Description:/h3:
