We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in the Construction and Development Department
The Analyst will assist our seasoned Construction Manager, and Regional Maintenance Manager with analysis of job costing, building budgets, writing contracts, supervising contractors, reporting to ownership, and many many other construction management functions. Our team is involved in many design and construction projects simultaneously, and needs a resourceful, engaged and amazing associate.
We seek a detail oriented, efficient, trustworthy and polished associate with a successful track record in the real estate or construction industry, who is extremely capable with MS Excel and has a true love of math.
Major Responsibilities:
:Preparation of and adherence to construction and maintenance budgets
:Preparation of construction and maintenance contracts
:Ensures contracts are complete with: scope of work, project plans, COI, conditional lien release, invoice and contract approval cover page
:Assist with the monitoring of construction and maintenance projects. Ensure projects remain on schedule, to scope and within the budget
:Assisting with preparing and presenting the department results to executive committee
:Analyze and report project cost variances
:Works with Property Accounting to ensure that project costs are provided in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures
:Schedule vendors, sub:contracts and contracts for projects as needed
:Track all lender required repairs, lein releases, certificates of insurance etc.
:Experience: Minimum two (2) years of financial or project controls experience
:Experience in a financial analysis and/or accounting role in an architectural, design, contracting, project management or construction environment.
:Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or construction management disciplineCompany Description:/h3:
