Lease Administrator
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90036

About the Job

Lease Administrator

The ideal candidate for this position has a current working knowledge of Yardi Voyager for commercial real estate. Basic math skills applicable to the industry and has a keen ability to read, comprehend and extrapolate pertinent information from formal lease and lease related documents.

Priority knowledge and Skills:

· Aptitude for Math – basic accounting skills including the ability to calculate percentages, knowledge of retail percentage rent and commercial CAM Reconciliation a plus
· Yardi Proficiency. Must be comfortable and familiar with Yardi Voyager for Commercial Retail use
· Excellent reading comprehension and extrapolation skills

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Read and extrapolate leases and lease related documents into Yardi and Excel
· Create and maintain straight-line lease schedules in Yardi according to GAAP guidelines
· Accurately perform retail CAM reconciliations and office expense over base year reconciliations using Yardi
· Track and maintain current insurance certificates for tenants according to lease requirements
· Maintain current and accurate tenant contacts in Yardi
· Verify Brokers’ commission calculations
· Track and report all leasing activity and critical dates
· Prepare LOI’s as requested (template provided)
· Review and abstract leases quickly for due diligence purposes

· Review Estoppel’s and SNDA’s against leases and report discrepancies
· Audit leases against their Yardi set-up and report on gaps/discrepancies
· Create and maintain various tables and schedules in Excel as requested
· Adhoc and special projects as requested

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong professional communication skills both written and verbal
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Education and Experience

· 2- 4 years’ experience in commercial/retail lease administration
· AA/BA degree or equivalent experience
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of commercial/retail & office leases
