Job Description:/h3:
The Closing/Funding Manager is responsible for all work flow and production in the Closing Department, including but not limited to assigning loans to closers and funders, resolving any closing or funding issues, maintaining turn times and individual metrics for delivery and overseeing the process to deliver and excellent customer experience, with quality and accurate closing packages for sale on the Secondary Market.
:Oversee the scheduling and assignment of work for all team members.
:Monitor turn times and metrics within the team to insure that GBLI standards are met.
:Create an atmosphere of service and flexibility with clients to enhance the customer experience.
:Resolve issues and problems within the department.
:Communicate ongoing issues or trends to the President of the company for resolution and/or awareness within the sales team.
:Keep abreast of new compliance regulations that affect the closing team and function, training associates on new policies and procedures.
:Work with other Operations Managers to perfect the GBLI process and keep the Policies and Procedures updated to reflect any changes made.
:Participate in capacity discussions and hiring or termination of staff as needed.
:Monitor, assign and oversee the clearing of post:closing conditions.
:Respond to all Quality Control findings in a timely manner, utilizing those finding for corrective action with associates or discussion with President of company for improvement in procedures.
:Perform other duties as assigned.
:Ability to Draw Docs for Wet and Dry states; Funding:Review of signed closing documents, review PTF conditions, and setup loan on warehouse line and wire
:Trid knowledge : can prepare a PredCD:with awareness in timeframes per TRID
:High School diploma required, some college preferred.
:At least five (5) years mortgage industry experience in Closing, Compliance or a Funding function.
:Previous Experience in a Supervisory Role Preferred.
:Experience with LQB, DocMagic, Calyx Point experience would be a plus.
