NBCUniversal will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with relevant legal requirements This position will report to the Director/VP, Global Real Estate and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Global Real Estate lease administration function including facilitating the accurate and timely review, abstracting, and transmittal of lease transactions, provide portfolio analysis as well as tracking, verifying, reporting, and disseminating lease data for approximately 100 million square feet of NBCUniversal's global real estate portfolio. The Senior Manager leads a small team of internal and external resources, which provides the department with accurate and comprehensive documentation, data, analysis, and plans concerning its global property portfolio. Here's what you'll do in this role * Accurately and timely manage the abstraction of all fully executed lease documents, including storage agreements, amendments, and some license agreements, in accordance with department and data governance policies * Manage lease options and encumbrances in lease management system to a high degree of accuracy * Verify lease transaction support documentation and commission calculations? Track current lease contracts and manage process for critical date actions * Review, verify, and distribute timely communications on important dates via effective media including the lease management system, phone and email, if necessary? * Track and update lease information, property values, capital expenditures, rental rates, and real estate assessments * Act as the single point of contact for relevant vendor relationships? Manage the global lease audit process including vendor management, planning, execution and all related communications * Work closely with GRE Transaction Managers to coordinate lease activity from project initiation through the final execution of the lease documents and ensure proper documentation trails are maintained for all transactions? * Assist in and/or oversee the development, documentation, and maintenance of department policies and procedures. Develop and maintain standard reporting formats for leasing administration * Timely and accurately prepare and/or assist with monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports to track real estate strategies, decisions, risks, costs and developed KPI's * Engage GRE Transaction Managers proactively to review these reports and plan for reviews with internal clients. Continually improve reporting formats and processes based on feedback * Lead regular data quality audits concerning the portfolio data and records, and continually improve the portfolio admin program on a variety of key metrics including reliability, speed of processes, and program cost * Assist internal customers with lease research regarding existing tenants, pending deals, leasing statistics, tenant buyouts, and/or early terminations, as necessary * Act as primary driver/organizer for the department's annual "Long Range Planning" efforts (10-year look ahead with increased focus on first 1-3 years), particularly with respect to portfolio data & analytics, projections of critical dates, changes to space supply & demand based on contract events, costs, and likely transactional activity based on critical dates within existing portfolio. * Point-person for internal customer questions and lease--related software training * The position will also actively support the global team on specific projects when required. Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, proactive, and responsive * Must consistently demonstrate excellent, professional communication (both verbal and written), organizational, and analytical skills. Must have the ability to develop various types of logical and accurate reports * Knowledge and understanding of basic commercial real estate accounting and finance principles and leasing statistics. Financial and general accounting skills preferred * Previous experience developing or documenting policies and procedures * You have prior experience with database migration management/platform customizations * You are well versed in the new FASB regulations and capital vs. operating lease testing * Experience using PC based software and lease admin systems, preferably the BIGCenter (Accruent) platform - www.bigcenter.com * You have a strong financial/analytical background with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint * You have the ability to prepare and present high level presentations and analyses/transaction summaries to senior executives * You have the ability to multi-task in a collaborative, fast paced environment * You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills * You have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization and management and ability to build broad external networks * You are a self-starter * You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or related field
