Job Description
CodeGreen is looking for an experienced individual to guide the growth and market presence of our West Coast office in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will be tasked to lead business development for new clients (70 of time), acts as an account manager for existing clients (30 of time) and will be responsible for pitching key sustainability and energy management services to our clients, comprised mainly of real estate owners, developers, managers, and tenants. S/he will be an integral part of our growing team. S/he will be required to work with our NYC headquarters office to leverage subject area expertise and project delivery where appropriate. Travel will be required as part of the role.
:Manage client accounts, assist with marketing, presentations, and sales of sustainability services
:Meet new business development sales targets
:Act as account manager for clients with existing buildings and new construction projects
:Represent CG at public:facing panels, industry events, and conferences
:Identify industry working groups, memberships, conferences, panels, publishing opportunities, and speaking engagements for CodeGreen and CodeGreen employees to participate in
:Liasion to industry groups such as USGBC local chapters and BOMA
:Communicate learnings to appropriate CG personnel, including Director of Business Development, Practice Directors, Associate Directors, Managing Principal
:Understand what our clients and the industry are doing and bring that information back to our team to think about as part of product and service line development
Experience / Skill Requirements
Degree in engineering, building, or business:related field preferred (architecture, building science, MBA, etc.)
2:5+ years experience managing sustainability and energy projects
Familiar with LEED, corporate sustainability reporting, and energy legislation
Ability to work independently and require minimal guidance
Excellent logic and deduction skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
