Chef David LeFevre has carved a niche in Manhattan Beach with eclectic, chef driven restaurants focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. After opening Manhattan Beach Post in April 2011, Fishing With Dynamite in April 2013 and The Arthur J in June 2015, we are looking to recruit magnetic, passionate, experienced and motivated leaders to join our family for both existing projects and the potential for new concepts on the horizon.
A qualified Leadership Candidate will be a passionate industry leader & role model who is charismatic, self-motivated and thrives in a dynamically evolving environment. He/She must possess a high level of understanding in operations, excellent communication & organizational skills, ability to multi-task & delegate effectively, drive financial results and possess a proven track record of mentoring crew & peers alike. Strong beverage skills are necessary – wine, spirits and beer. This Culinarian – a foodie at heart – will be expected to live and respect our culture of soulful cuisine… and will simply ooze hospitality.
A qualified Assistant General Manager candidate must possess three years of experience managing in a chef driven/fine dining restaurant. The right candidate has successfully driven results through salaried direct reports, adept at navigating the financial components of restaurant management and a track record of building passionate disciples amongst hourly crew and salaried leadership alike.
These positions require a high level of attention to detail in order to succeed in an environment of extremely high standards – always with humility, respect and integrity. Candidates at all levels will be involved in all aspects of operations, mentorship of team members, service and Guest interaction in accordance to standards. There are opportunities for future advancement and the perfect candidate would be the individual completely open to guidance while still chomping at the bit to earn MY position.
