Seeking an experienced general manager for a new and exciting fast-casual concept from the restaurateur behind Plan Check Kitchen + Bar, set to open this summer in the Sherman Oaks area. In addition to having at least two years of experience, applicants should have energetic personalities and a serious passion for hospitality! The ideal candidate excels at motivating and developing their front-of-house team and works harmoniously with the Chef (or kitchen manager) and back-of-house team. We are looking for a happy, people-pleaser, team player, hospitality rockstar! Here are some of the things you will be expected to do as a General Manager: 

  • Control day-to-day operations, schedule labor, manage breaks and prevent break violations 
  • Be the enforcer of our culture and set the standard for all team members
  • Ensure food quality and 100% guest satisfaction  
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings that are exciting and informative 
  • Continuous training and development of all team members through effective coaching and strong leadership
  • Constant maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • Maintain standard of safety for all team members and guests 
  • Profit and loss control by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals, take disciplinary action when necessary, motivate and train
