• Keep all menus clean and organized
• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
• When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
• When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party
• Update Maître D/Lead Host on table status
• Run Open Table System
• Locate guest parties when tables become available
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
• Seat guests based on guest preference, guest count in server stations and proper seating of room
• Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name.
• Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
• Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
• Be able to wear heels (if applicable)
• Be able to do outreach / concierge visits
• Represent STK at off site events as brand ambassador
• Be able to answer phones
• Other duties as assigned
