The mission of the Corporate Communications team is to connect, engage and empower our associates across the globe. We deliver consultative services, resources, training, design and multi:channel communications to meet business partner objectives and strengthen and uphold the Capital Group culture and brand.
As a Communications and Engagement Specialist in Corporate Communications, you'll partner with Human Resources (HR) to develop and execute strategic communication plans related to the following benefits programs: Health and Life, Savings and Retirement, Compensation, Wellness, Charitable Giving, and Retiree Outreach. You'll have the opportunity to work with our chief HR officer, pitching creative solutions and engaging content that helps tell the story of our premiere benefits and HR offerings across the global organization.
Partner with HR teams and senior leadership to understand their objectives and communication needs. Develop recommendations, messages and comprehensive communication strategies using existing and emerging channels including emails, intranet, internal news articles, social media, webinars, presentations, videos and infographics.
Use creative and engaging storytelling techniques to create an emotional connection with the audience; share regular results with team and business partners to assess performance and brainstorm and recommend improvements for future communications.
Serve as project manager for all deliverables, ensuring process efficiency and regular communication with members of the project team, business partners and direct supervisor on project status, required deliverables, review process and schedule.
A minimum of two years of internal communications and engagement experience in a global organization, preferably with knowledge of HR and their related policies, practices, trends, and technology tools.
Ability to strategically consult with business partners to identify communication solutions based on experience, best practices and technology.
Experience in leading and managing projects within a team setting.
