Job Description:/h3:
Loss Control Consultant : Insurance : Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities:
:Analyzes and interprets information from loss histories provided
:Participates with Producer, Unit Manager and other Associates in the presentation of insurance proposal
:Keeps informed on current developments of federal and state safety laws
:Accumulates required continuing educational credits to maintain current certifications
Requirements:
:Has a professional designation in safety or related field
:Extensive experience in marketing and servicing the Loss Control needs of commercial accounts gained from educational background and/or 3 or more years of field experience
:Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem solving skills
:Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications
:Aptitude for mathematical calculations including multiplication, division and percentages
:Expert knowledge of applicable Loss Control standards and codes.
:Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelors degree required. Environmental and Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.
Minimal Travel : throughout California
Nice to have : CSP, CHSM, or BCP : But not required.
