The Marketing and Business Development Associate will work closely with Managing Directors and their teams to help uncover and develop new business opportunities. Furthermore, candidates should ideally have a love for research/diligence, experience in project management, and impeccable organizational skills. Responsibilities Strategically identify potential client opportunities from Managing Directors extensive networks, generating new leads and uncovering high-value opportunities
Research and gather business intelligence about prospective clients and trends in opportunities
Prepare and send strategic e-mails to prospective clients specific to their financial needs, with the purpose of generating interest in working with the team
Support Practice Management in all aspects of the sales cycle, including scheduling follow-up meetings, managing administrative elements, and overseeing the pipelines of completed meetings to ensure all prospective clients are being contacted throughout the year
Proactively construct and implement recommendations and projects that will enhance operations, optimize automation, and increase the number of new meetings with prospective clients
Work with Managing Directors and colleagues to ensure timely updating of all marketing materials
Prepare targeted presentations in a manner that effectively communicates the teams relevant experience and articulates our added value Qualifications Desired Skills / Work Experience: Excellent writing, editing, analytical, research and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to comfortably navigate CRM software and relationship management programs, including Salesforce and Relationship Science. If no experience with these programs, a demonstrated capability to learn technology systems quickly
Experience managing a large database and maintaining data integrity
Ability to work successfully in an unstructured role/environment
Forward-thinking and solutions-oriented approach at all times
Goal and action orientation with ability and desire to work towards revenue targets within a team environment
Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact with senior level clients
Thrives in collaborative environment
High level of discretion and tact regarding confidential matters and identities
Strong MS office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills are required
Bachelors degree
