Capital Groups Enterprise Project Management Office is made up of 100+ dedicated project and program experts that lead our largest strategic business and technology initiatives. These initiatives cover a variety of domains including Information Technology, Global Business Operations, Investment Operations, and Sales and Marketing. This provides our project managers with the opportunity to build deep subject matter expertise in one or multiple domains. This particular position will report to the Enterprise Project Management Office covering our Distribution organization : and therefore, product, sales and marketing initiatives.
As a Project and Change Manager based in Los Angeles you will deliver mission:critical projects using your strength in leading teams, collaborating to solve problems and driving for results, and will facilitate business adoption of the projects through your change management expertise. You tackle multiple types of projects, some concurrently, and lead teams in a matrix environment.
:Bachelors Degree. Advanced degree (MBA or other) a plus
Minimum 8 years of project management and change management experience at a management consulting firm or business strategy delivery at a financial services firm
Experience in leading areas of a PMO with a strong interest and track record in influencing change in project management best practices
Proven success leading project and change management delivery for complex projects and/or programs spanning the full lifecycle from proposal development to post:implementation close:out
Work closely with senior business leaders to ensure that project and change delivery expectations are aligned, managed and met
Track record in providing thought leadership and executing on project and change management best practices
Demonstrated ability to build high:performing project teams by effectively leading and providing work direction for others
