The PulmonaryBusiness Development Specialist (PBDS) is responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining marketing and promotional strategies to meet BSC's Pulmonary sales objectives at a regional level. This position is responsible for education to our key physicians, communities and respective sales teams and managers. Additionally, the PMDS is accountable for leveraging local and regional organizational involvement to drive awareness and build relationships that will benefit the profitable growth of the Pulmonary Division.
Key Responsibilities:
:Acts as Hospital Marketing and Public Relations Department direct contact for local and IDN/GPO network level to create, manage and execute plans on pulmonary therapies
:Leads Marketing discussions at Bronchial Thermoplasty clinics to create, manage and execute plans in addition to selling on usefulness of Marketing Programs, Campaigns, and company resources to build growth of programs
:Assists sales team develop and support Sales Blitzes, Patient Events in addition to promotion of Education Programs, Workshops and Preceptorships through use of IMS Data Reports and relationships in marketing departments and organizations
:Researches, attends and/or exhibits at relevant local and regional meetings
:Works with leaderships on agenda at conferences to connects and educates physicians speaking on relevant allergy and pulmonary topics
:Encourages KOLs to submit abstracts for presentation at our major conferences
:Aids in National opportunities for Pulmonary education and awareness
:Leads focus on Allergy and Pulmonary Fellow education keeping active report of fellows and assists new introductions to sales reps when necessary
:High communication and collaboration with designated sales teams in Region keeping all informed of successes, opportunities, and new information
:Monitors, review, and report all productivity and results on a weekly basis
Key Qualifications:
:Bachelors or equivalent (Business, Marketing related degree preferred)
:3:5 years selling experience in Pharmaceuticals/biotech/medical devices
:Asthma or Airway:related sales experience
:Specialty sales preferred
:Management in specialty market desired
:Strong organizational, selling, presentation and communication skills
:Travel requirements up to 75

:Proficiency in MS Office, especially Mircrosoft PowerPoint and Excel
