The Sales and Marketing Literature Review Compliance Team provides advice and guidance to and collaborates with affiliates regarding the applicability of rules and regulatory requirements, internal guidelines and disclosure standards, and other risk related issues when reviewing, analyzing and approving communication materials relating to Capital Group's investment services. Additionally, this team is responsible for providing compliance oversight for emerging areas of communication/technology efforts such as social media, website content development and functionality capabilities, and mobile applications.
As a Sales Literature Compliance Associate based in Los Angeles, you will provide project related support to the Sales and Marketing Literature Review team including maintaining, managing and troubleshooting various logs and databases necessary to keep track of sales material files required to meet regulatory requirements.
-Schedule compliance team meetings and agenda preparation
-Literature review workflow distribution
-FINRA filing and monitor receipt of FINRA letters
-Recordkeeping and database maintenance
-2:5 years of administrative support experience in a corporate environment
-Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment
-A proactive, action:oriented individual with a demonstrated ability to multi:task and maintain accuracy in a highly deadline:oriented environment
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong computer skills (Excel ,Word, Adobe Acrobat and web interfaces) and a high comfort level with databases
-Copyediting experience a plus
-Bachelor's degree required
